Chocolatey Goodness: The Hot Cocoa Manicure and Pedicure at Haven
what’s better than eating chocolate? well, nothing. but if you’re trying to watch your tonnage — especially after (unfortunately) packing on the pounds after all that holiday eating — then the late oversexed cocoa manicure and pedicure at haven is definitely a good way to go! that way, you attire all the chocolatey goodness but not any of the calories. see, this beauty chick is looking out for you!haven is already one of my go-to spots for spray tanning and facials. (click here and here for my recaps of those fanciful treatments.) but i’d heard so much about their mani-pedis, i simply had to oscillation by and check them out. and i necessity say i am quite glad i did! this on the wane care for left my hands and feet looking and sense of foreboding utterly marvellous.after settling into my seat on the comfortable pillow-laden banquette, i was treated to 75 glorious minutes of sloughing, buffing, scrubbing and massaging with a cocoa scrub and cocoa butter. in addition, the pedicure started with a milk bath that was just hot enough to make me cease to remember the cold temperatures outside.after all the normal steps included in a manicure and pedicure, my tips and toes were polished to perfection. i brought my own colors this for the moment — chanel shanghai red for my toes and chanel organdy for my tips.
