Rumours abound that Chris Perez is on his way to help the big club, but so far, nothing confirmable. If it is, in fact, the case, I must say I’m impressed by the alacrity with which this move was made. I wasn’t expecting such a quick response to the current ‘pen woes. I hope it’s true; I’m excited to see the kid get a chance at the big league level.
Sheets has been downright nasty at times this year, but, as always, has been a little banged up. The Cardinals seem to usually do pretty well against ol’ Ben- let’s hope that’s the case today.
