(one of the historians afterwards said it “sacrificed eloquence for electability,” and i think that sums it up.) i have to admire his kennedy-esque stand on ending our dependence on exotic fuel. let’s hope he gets the chance to make it true. his attacks also got a little more passionate towards the end, talking nigh foreign policy, afghanistan, and iraq. and i liked the part about the democrats’ legacy of defending this nation.
