What Christmas Means to Me
earlier in the christmas season, shaun groves wrote round how he struggles to find any stare in the christmas story having heard it so many times throughout his life.well, i’ve heard it a raffle, too. i am after all a pk, a pastor’s kid, and spent diverse hours at church growing up. but for some apology…there’s something give christmas that disarms me. throughout the tea of the year, it’s quite easy to harden the old pith, to forget that miracles still do happen, to remember that god loves me. but at christmas…at christmas i am reminded that he does. at christmas i feel loosely to hope, because i am reminded that god loved mankind enough to send his son to dirt as a human. at christmas, i feel free to bask in the spectacle of all that hope and merriment and love…at christmas we haven’t gotten to the death part yet or all the torture. there haven’t flush been any miracles…christmas is the beginning….the parentage of hope or as the flap says, “the dawn of grace.” at christmas, i am celebrating the life of jesus…a king born into the humblest of circumstances reminding us that “he knows our needs, to our weakness is no alien.” reminding us that his heart is tender also in behalf of the poor and oppressed. reminding us that we’re not alone. we’re not forgotten. we are loved and acutely so. unfathomably so.this christmas is a low essential one for me. i’ll go over to my parents, but no other kindred members include made the trek to cali this year. i spent considerably less than in years days, and i am pleased with what i have. the reality is, the most important part of christmas to me is when the wonder ignites in my heart…as i hark to to the familiar christmas songs or read the familiar words in the bible. when i admit my guard down and just celebrate being loved so much. christmas for me is an intimate time with god.i know not all of my readers share my beliefs or even celebrate christmas. but for those of you who do…merry christmas. you are loved and not forgotten. let yourself rejoice in that today.to all who celebrate…merry christmas!

QR: “75 declared votes against Craddick”

those who have followed phillip’s weighty coverage of the speaker’s race would already be sure that we have the numbers. tom craddick will not be the speaker of the texas bawdy-house of representatives for its 81st general session, on hold simply a formal vote choosing an actual successor. but now, a longstanding figure of the mainstream media in texas civics agrees. from harvey kronberg’s quorum report: if the dems can deliver their promised 64 votes, there are now 75 declared votes against craddick’s re-nomination as speaker.today a group of house republicans met in austin and, along with some of their colleagues participating by telephone, mutually affirmed their support for a mod speaker other than tom craddick. sharing the sentiments in the room, rep. euchre out of eissler (r-the woodlands) said, “i don’t force a stew with tom craddick. i don’t think he has the votes. i think we demand to look for a new speaker.” his mate, rep. joe straus (r-san antonio) added, “we affirmatively agreed that it was sooner suited for selecting a new speaker from the put together in attendance.” rep. charlie geren (r-fort worth) said that in addition to those present today, there are other republicans who will be coming well-advanced when the faction announces its consensus candidate on jan. 2.
If I understand what I read correctly, this also means we can move Rep. Rob Eissler to the “Not-Craddick” column. Previously, he was part of Speaker Craddick’s ceiling. The new numbers, going off of Phillip’s previous work:
Back to life back to reality
not craddick 77, craddick ceiling 60, toss-up 13
UPDATE: I have learned from someone who has a subscription to the Quorum Report that Rep. Burt Solomons was at the meeting. Solomons had shown some disapproval towards Craddick before, but he had not previously said anything concrete. He was on Phillip’s “Toss-Up” list. So that changes the numbers again.
not craddick 78, craddick ceiling 60, undulate-up 12

Living in the wondrous future: a camera for the blind
Filed under: Technology

the world of adaptive technology has brought us stunning inventions such as carbon-fiber prostheses that exceed the playing of mere bone-and-muscle legs. therefore i was taken Cialis by not surprised by the ingenuity of a new product, the trigger sight, a camera for the blind.
The camera, invented by Chueh Lee of Samsung China, features a flexible Braille display screen which creates a three-dimensional representation of the picture seen through the camera lens. The camera is held to the user’s forehead, and he/she uses sound to estimate the distance to the object being photographed.
As it takes a snapshot, the camera also records a three-second snippet of ambient sound, so as the photographer checks out the image taken, he/she can review the distance estimate and make adjustments as needed.
The Touch Sight was recently awarded a gold medal in the International Design Excellence Awards 2008. The viagra italia camera has not yet reached the market, but I can see some great products spinning off from this tech. How about game controllers?
