BWE Soundtrack: Kevin Rudolf
(ed note: “soundtrack” is a recurring feature in which we tell you more surrounding the music heard in each episode of best week ever with paul f. tompkins. this week, we’re talking about kevin rudolf.) tonight, you may have noticed a particularly catchy (and possibly familiar) disregard during our show. it’s “let it rock,” by kevin rudolf, which features a cameo by lil wayne. it’s fairly hot right now, peaking at #5 on the charts. kevin has worked his system through the music biz as a respected collaborator and producer. if “let it rock” is any intimation, we’ll be hearing a raffle more kevin rudolf on tv, commercials, and, yes, the radio (it still exists!) very some time. the music video for the song has lots of lasers (reminiscent of 80’s beginning school photos) and lil wayne’s humdinger belting on the guitar: kevin rudolf’s album in the city is out on scratch money records november 25. kevin rudolf website
