happy thanksgiving!it’s that linger of the year in majority of us homes where family and relatives and friends congregate to rejoice in the more than 400 years us tradition. thanksgiving day. i know that the main dish would be roast turkey. as institution dictates ( at least according to us movies i’ve seen) the father of the whore-house would normally curve the gigantic turkey - all stuffed with whatever. the part or slightly the edibles that intrigues me is pumpkin pie. we don’t have pumpkins here in manila but we do have planned squash. would it do all right? and what’s the taste of pumpkin pie? great? meaty? can someone please describe the taste of pumpkin pie? i don’t not unlike turkey. i don’t like turkey. i don’t lunch turkey. the reason? hereanyway, thanksgiving day marks the “official” start of the christmas mellow. i don’t want to be politically correct (i should have said, “start of the leave of absence season”) due to the fact that i do know that the reason for the season and the holidays was ample to the celebration of the confinement of jesus christ. so… exuberant start of the christmas season!
