Favorite Graphic Novels of 2008
My 52 Books, 52 Weeks and Book Notes series exposed me to over 80 graphic novels this year
All links go to either my short reviews in the Book Notes, my 52 Books, 52 Weeks series, or the book’s Amazon page if the title hasn’t been featured at Largehearted Boy (yet).
Before I list my favorite graphic novels of the year, two comics collections deserve special mention. For people just getting into comics or the lifelong fan, I cannot recommend these books enough:

the best american comics 2008 edited by lynda barry
This list first appeared in a slightly different form at Mobtown Shank.
