Yes, we all know that in the Academy’s excitement over rewarding Harvey Weinstein for another job well done, they failed to recognize the hard work of Kate Winslet, Bruce Springsteen, and Wall-E — but who else got the shaft this week?
• Answer-hungry Lost fans, by whichever writer whose job it was to answer these simple questions.
• Lost, by a quarter of last year’s audience.
• The Oscars, by at least a quarter of last year’s audience, probably.
• Frogurt, by his fellow island castaways, who selfishly ran away screaming instead of removing the flaming arrow from his chest.
• Seven Pounds, by the Razzies.
• Don Draper, by 30 Rock’s casting director.
• The fifteen best films at Sundance, by you, since you stayed home.
• Anne Hathaway, by pirates.
• Office fans, by The Office.
• Mickey Rourke, by Marvel.
• Arrested Development fans, by Michael Cera.
• Michael Cera, by Sundance.
• Some dude, by some critic.
• Ben Silverman’s superiors, by Ben Silverman.
• Werewolves, by mall cops.
• Us, by our new favorite lovebirds, Fred Armisen and Elizabeth Moss, who did not invite us to their Rock Band party.
