New Magic jersey officially unveiled

Here you go fans, here is your new Orlando Magic 20th anniversary jersey:

The uniforms, designed in a partnership with the Magic, Adidas and the NBA are a return to the beginnings for the team with its original pinstripe look. Though it has definitely been updated.

“We took the classic pinstripe approach from the first season and redesigned it with an evolved tapered pinstripe and worked it into the flowing cutlines of the new design,” Adidas apparel designer Jonathan Yuska said of the look.

This is the fourth incarnation of jersey for the Magic since its inaugural season in 1989-90.

Mayor Buddy Dyer was also on hand to declare it “Orlando Magic Day” of sorts and to give Dwight Howard the key to the city for winning a gold medal this summer. The Magic also presented him with his own personalized jersey.
