Inauguration A Hot Ticket For Obama’s NC Faithful
North Carolina supporters of President-elect Barack Obama have flocked to Washington to witness his inauguration.
A spokesman for Sen. Kay Hagan said more than 400 people were on the waiting list to get tickets from her and some people were waiting in line early on Monday morning to get some. Hagan was able to get 125 additional tickets, but not enough for everyone levitra kaufen that wanted one.
Along with supporting Obama, a number of North Carolina residents are in the nation’s capital for various reasons. The Wake Forest University and Fayetteville State University students will participate in a multi-university debate about Obama’s policies.
Officers from the Greensboro Police Department are among the 4,000 officers from around the country helping provide security.
