Obama Orders Halt in Guantanamo Trials

In an effort to review the military-trial process in Guantanamo Bay, one of Obama’s first orders in office was to halt all ongoing trials. He may, in the future, elect to subject the prisoners there (some who have been held since 2001) to criminal trials. There’s probably no correct solution to this lingering problem, but Obama’s kept his promise to try to find it right away. [WP]
