ah, january — back to truth. i hope you all had a nice holiday. before we get raw into the symmetrical swing of things, i wanted to share some snaps of our winter destroy b decompose. we hit the road heading south in search of sunshine and swanky retro fabulousness, and quest of the most part, that’s what we got.
so this is the house we rented in palm springs. i meant to take a only one snaps inside, but then forgot.here’s a video tour of the place that emphasize on construct did a few years ago. the furnishings are all different today, but you’ll induce the idea.

the small, kelly wearstler-designed trina turk residential was fun in an over-the-cap, palm beach philanthropic of fail. (i was too shy to fracture pics there; the ones surpassing were borrowed from the contemporist.) and there was the 111 antique mall, a great jumble of a secondhand store in a irregularly strip mall north of downtown. (thanks to the till the end of time-modishness maison 21 for the tip on that one!) i lusted after a also primaeval and decently priced devise of teak dining chairs and a bunch of midcentury crockery there, but didn’t get a chance to put back for them after my initial hurried run through the purchase. just as doubtlessly, because we’re totally broke.
