The Enormity Before Us

i was talking to my backer and nr colleague kevin williamson yesterday, and he said, “you know, i wish the president-elect would learn the meaning of the word ‘enormity.’” he keeps saying things like, “i recognize the wickedness of what i’m about to undertake.” kevin quipped, “we may consider the upcoming administration an enormity, but…”

Mirriam-Webster’s first two definitions of “enormity”:

1: an outrageous, improper, vicious, or immoral act 2: the quality or state of being immoderate, monstrous, or outrageous ; unusually : great wickedness
