NBC to Broadcast ‘Elton’s New Year’s Eve Party’ Live from the O2 Arena
NBC has acquired a UK-produced live event featuring Sir Elton John to air across America, ‘Elton’s New Year’s Eve Party.’ The ITV production will also be broadcast in Spain, Italy, Ireland, Denmark and New Zealand. The 90 minute special will feature many of the legendary artist’s greatest hits, plus special guest performances.

US viewers will be able to see the event live on NBC’s “New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly,” with performers including Katy Perry, T.I., The Ting Tings and Ludacris. For the first time, the live show from New York’s Times Square will be broadcast in Primetime from 10-11 p.m. (ET) and will then continue in late night from 11:30p.m. - 12:30 a.m.–all in high definition.
