Ten Little Known or Understood Facts about Hamas

In light of the current crisis in Gaza, DBKP presents ten little known or understood facts about Hamas.

1. Hamas is a branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, an Egyptian organization that seeks to unify the entire Muslim world under a single Sunni Islamic caliphate, as well as destroy governmental entities throughout the world in favor of sharia, or theological jurisprudence and rules of law.

2. Members of Hamas believe that Allah actually transformed Jews into apes, pigs, mice, and lizards. The transformation was real, not allegorical. Muslims are at a loss to explain why Jews look like ordinary people. Muslims are also unable to reconcile that belief with article 7 of its charter that reads: “The Day of Judgement will not come about until Muslems fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Muslems, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Only the Gharqad tree would not do that because it is one of the trees of the Jews.”

3. Hamas believes that the Holocaust never occurred. Hamas believes that the Holocaust was a news story started by Jews to remove Israel from Muslim rule and that Israel is the world headquarters of a Jewish conspiracy. A conspiracy to conquer the world using media, pornography, and “inverse religious philosophy”.

4. Fifty percent of the Hamas budget is provided directly by Saudi Arabia.

5. Hamas does not believe in and does not allow singing or dancing, acts punishable by death. Hamas recently brought back crucifixion and amputation of limbs as punishment.

6. Hamas believes that Christians should pay a special tax equal to 10% of their wealth, annually for the privilege of living in a Muslim land. Nevertheless Christians have no legal rights under the legal system because the religious courts, or Sharia, do not recognize the word of a Christian as being equal to that of a Muslim. Jews are not allowed to live in Hamas controlled territory.

7. Article 13 of the Hamas Charter says very specifically that there is no solution other than the death of all Jews and Christians in Palestine:

“And the Jews will not be pleased with thee, nor will the Christians, till thou follow their creed. ‘Say: Lo! the guidance of Allah [himself] is the Guidance. And if you should follow their desires after the knowledge which has come unto thee, then you would have from Allah no protecting friend nor helper.” Sura 2 (the Cow), verse 120

There is no solution to the Palestinian problem except by Jihad. The initiatives, proposals and International Conferences are but a waste of time, an exercise in futility. The Palestinian people are too noble to have their future, their right and their destiny submitted to a vain game.”

8. Hamas believes that Masons, Shriners, and Rotary Clubs are secret Zionist spy organizations.

9. Hamas believes that all jesting, satire, humor, and jokes are serious sins that are punishable. Suffering is the only lot of a true Muslim.

10. Hamas believes that the death and destruction of noncombatant Muslims because of Hamas actions, such as killing them outright to create more battle statistics or by placing missiles or weapons among schools and hospitals, is a blessing to the citizens.
