Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett are going online January 15 for the first “live” Rifftrax delivered through the vast wastelands of cyberspace.
The Mystery Science Theater 3000 alumni do regular live shows around the country, but this free event will be the group’s first streaming show. It’s built around a bit of public domain film (not the public disaster that was The Happening, riff’d above).
They’ll be orally dismantling “Self-Conscious Guy”, a vintage short, this Thursday (9 p.m. Eastern, 6 p.m. Central).
