PA GOP: Obama Wrong on Wright
Filed under: Barack Obama, 2008 President
well, the satisfactory reverend is making an appearance in pa. mccain’s stupidly honorable purpose to sit on the wright chattels (even after hillary promised he’d use it) has led the pennsylvania gop to use it themselves:
Republican presidential nominee John McCain has said repeatedly he would not discuss Obama’s relationship with Wright.
But Pennsylvania Republican Party Chairman Robert Gleason Jr. said the state GOP thought Pennsylvania voters needed to know about Obama’s relationship with him.
“The media has allowed Barack Obama to escape public scrutiny on countless issues and has been silent on Obama’s connection with the Rev. Jeremiah Wright since the Primary Election,” Gleason said in a statement. “When Pennsylvanians vote for a president, they should have a full picture of that candidate’s character, including the people they chose to intimately align themselves with for many years.”
being the cynical type, i can easy as pie believe that the mccain team in actuality focused it and decided that it didn’t dawn on hard enough to be benefit it and/or obama had something up his sleeve in response. but i can also believe that this is mccain being mccain, known more because of chastising his own side to avoid criticizing a democrat. will he speak against the constitution gop on this? will the ad vibration pennsylvania over to his side?there are four status polls in recent days that may be seen pa in single digits and moving toward mccain. rasmussen:the latest rasmussen reports call up survey of voters in the state shows obama with 51% of the vote while mccain picks up 47%. that four-point advantage for obama is down from a seven-point room earlier in the weekearlier in the month. and a 13-point advantage for obama, but obama has no plans to visit.
