Idol’s Gina Glocksen Weds on New Year’s Eve
American Idol’s Gina Glocksen tied the knot!
The season 6 finalist, 24, wed her high school science teacher beau, Joe Ruzicka, 32, on New Year’s Eve at the Century Memorial Chapel at Naper Settlement in Naperville, Illinois.
“It looked like they were all very happy and having a great time,” Peggy Frank, Naper Settlement’s executive director, tells Usmagazine.com.

And despite famous bridesmaids — including Jordin Sparks! — Frank says the ceremony “was actually more low key than you would have expected.
“They all seemed to be having a good time with smiles on their faces,” adds Frank. “It seemed to go incredibly smoothly. The weather cooperated, and it was wonderful for them.”
Glocksen arrived at the chapel carrying her gown, which Frank describes as a “beautiful, full-length white dress…sleeveless, with beading along the front,” plus a white cape.
The bridesmaids wore champagne-colored gowns.
Frank calls Glocksen “a delight to work with. She was very down to earth and a very excited bride.”

Glocksen and Ruzicka met when she auditioned to be the lead singer of his band in 2005, and have been together ever since.
